Kremlin says Russia’s economy stable despite food price rise
MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russia’s macroeconomic stability is obvious, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.
“I can only repeat here that (Russia’s) macroeconomic stability is evident,” he commented on a 12% rise in Russians’ inflationary expectations in April.
“There are global trends linked to the rise in prices for food and other goods… You know that the global trends are cushioned by the government, but it is difficult to get rid of the global environment altogether.”
